Our teachers are lifelong learners who share a passion for learning with their students. Extraordinarily talented in their fields of expertise, they are committed educators who offer individual attention and support to students not only in the classroom, but in all aspects of their development. Acutely aware of the diverse needs of gifted students, the faculty creates a learning environment that is safe for problem solving and risk-taking, and where each student’s voice can be heard. Our teachers do not just instruct, but encourage, guide, and inspire their students, making ACS a true community of learners.

ACS graduates often return to campus to speak with affection of their teachers and the profound impact they had on their lives. Our teachers take enormous pride in all that their students attempt and accomplish, and often stay in touch with their students for many years beyond graduation.

Our faculty seek to further enhance their expertise through ongoing professional development. In addition, they are members of local, state, and national organizations, and share their knowledge as presenters at professional seminars and conferences throughout the country.
